“Radiance” is the focal point for a newly constructed exterior courtyard of a mixed-use residential building in Koreatown, Los Angeles. The simple yet visually complex form is inspired by Korean fan art while also exhibiting a lively color scheme reminiscent of the beautiful LA sunsets. The transparency of the art and reflections of light with its high quality materials provide a liveliness to the space while also engaging occupants as they transition through the lushly planted courtyard.
