Willow

Sky Ridge Light Rail Station - Lone Tree, Colorado

Gracefully rising from the landscape, Willow stands as a contemporary emblem of the American West, an intersection of movement, memory, and renewal. Located at the City of Lone Tree’s light rail station along the Regional Transportation District’s (RTD) Purple Line, the sculpture welcomes travelers with a form that feels both rooted and in motion. Inspired by the supple prairie grasses and quaking aspens of Colorado’s foothills, Willow echoes the endurance and quiet strength that have long defined life in the West. Its sweeping gesture suggests the rhythm of wind across open plains, a spiritual reminder of connection between people, land, and the passage of time.
